Doors, measured properly

Get the door right
the first time

Most door orders go wrong on the size, the fire rating, or the parts nobody mentions — the lining, the latch, the hinges. We show you all of it before you buy.

Before you order

Three things that go wrong, in order

  1. 01

    The opening is never square

Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, and take the smallest. Older houses move; a 3mm difference decides whether the door shuts.

  2. 02

Imperial and metric are not interchangeable

A 762mm door is 78" x 30". A 2040 x 826mm metric door is not a substitute for it, and no amount of trimming makes it one.

  3. 03

You cannot trim a fire door to fit

Every door has a stated trimming allowance, and on a rated door exceeding it voids the certification. Check before you order, not after.

Tell us the opening. We'll tell you the door.

Measure the height and width, and the size finder will show you the standard sizes that fit, the gap on each edge, and whether you need a lining adjustment.
